Terms of Use
1. Discovery aggregator only
Bootega is a discovery and comparison tool. We do not sell boots or act as a party to transactions between buyers and sellers or retailers. Featured Listings and other paid platform services are processed by PayPal; Bootega does not store card details.
2. Platform disclaimer
Listings, prices, sizes, authenticity claims, and availability come from third parties. Bootega does not warrant accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Always confirm details directly before paying.
3. Acceptable use
You may not scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or disrupt Bootega; submit false seller/partner applications; list counterfeit or stolen goods; harass users; or bypass access controls. We may suspend or ban accounts/devices that violate these rules.
4. Seller & partner responsibilities
Approved sellers and partners must provide accurate information, honor stated prices/condition where they control the offer, comply with applicable law, and follow the Seller Policy & Joint Guarantee.
5. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Bootega and its operators harmless from claims arising from your listings, content, transactions with third parties, or misuse of the platform.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bootega is not liable for losses from third-party listings, retailer changes, failed transactions, shipping disputes, authenticity disputes, or reliance on search results. Our aggregate liability for platform-paid services (e.g. Featured Listing fees) is limited to the amount you paid Bootega for that service in the prior 12 months.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence provide otherwise. Courts in Metro Manila have non-exclusive venue for disputes arising from these terms, subject to applicable consumer venue rights.
8. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes to paid seller/partner services will be communicated through the product or email when contact details exist.
