How to search, read results, and chase a grail without guessing the UI
Searching for boots
01Enter a boot name, model, or colorway, e.g. "Mercurial Vapor R9 Phenomeno".
02On first visit, use the large hero search. After that, the search bar in the topbar works the same way.
03Jump between Search, Recent, News, and Basket with the left nav on desktop, or the bottom bar on mobile.
04Bootega checks 16 specialist retailers at once and returns up to 6 web matches, plus private seller listings when they fit.
Filters
01On the hero screen, Size (multi-select with UK/US equivalents), Country, and Display Currency sit under the search box.
02After a search, open Filters beside the topbar search. On mobile that opens a bottom sheet.
03Display Currency converts prices with live rates (PHP, USD, GBP, EUR, and others).
04Change a filter and active results refresh after a short pause.
Reading results
01Cards rank Strong, then Moderate, then Weak, and by price inside each tier.
02Green border means strong match, amber moderate, grey weak confidence.
03Private seller cards (blue border) sit at the bottom, up to 5 per search. A gold Featured tag marks a promoted listing.
04Once retailer prices load, the market bar shows Low, Median, and High.

01Tap Details on a retailer card to open the Bootega archive drawer.
02You may see year, technology, famous players, launch price, scarcity, and a collector verdict.
03Some archive details still say "coming soon" while coverage grows. Check back later.
Basket and accounts
01Tap + Basket on a retailer result to save it on this device.
02Sign in with Google from the topbar to sync the basket across devices. On first sign-in, the local basket merges into the account.
03Prices are indicative. Bootega is a discovery tool only; nothing is bought or sold on the platform itself. Confirm the final price with the seller or retailer.

Bootega is a fusion of “Boot” and “Bodega,” football boots set against the neighborhood stockroom of finds.
How Bootega works
Search for boots in the size you want. Results come from Bootega’s partner retailer sites, together with private sellers who list directly on Boot Bodega, so you are not stuck messaging shops and sellers one by one.
The site is free. What it tries to cut is the familiar runaround: opening retailer after retailer, lining prices up by hand, and losing track of who is actually nearer to you.
Built from an archive, not a warehouse
Bootega started as @boots_in_phil, an Instagram archive of rare and forgotten football boots, colorways, and the stories behind them. That archive became Bootega: a football-boot search engine that compares retailers, tracks live prices, and brings independent sellers into one place.
The archive still sits at the core. Search is not only what is listed today. It is also what a boot is, when it dropped, and why collectors care.
From Manila to the world’s pitches
Bootega is built in the Philippines, often far from the retailers and pitches its archive covers. The tagline is intent, not logistics. Distance should not keep a collector from finding a grail. Bootega closes that gap with search, not with shipping.

Bootega is a discovery tool. We search, compare, and bring listings forward. We do not process payments for boot purchases, hold inventory, or guarantee stock. You buy directly from the seller or retailer.

"Seller" and "Partner" mean different things on Bootega. A Seller lists their own boots. A Partner is a brand, retailer, or store whose catalogue Bootega shows in search, with an optional paid site-wide boost on top.
Being searchable is free for sellers and partners. Money only comes from optional visibility boosts, never as a fee just to appear. Private sellers can Feature individual listings; partners can Boost their whole site.

Boost your entire site for 7, 14, or 30 days: priority ranking when your catalogue matches a search, a Boosted badge on result cards, and stronger presence across Bootega.
- Free to be searched. Your catalogue shows up when collectors search a matching boot. No listing fee, no commission, no cost just to be found.
- New Partner badge. New partners get a free New Partner badge on result cards for 7 days from approval. That is a freshness signal, separate from any paid boost.
- Discovery only. Bootega is a discovery layer. Money between buyer and seller never passes through us. Partner Site Boost is optional paid visibility only.

Seller Policy & Joint Guarantee
1. What Bootega is
Bootega is a discovery aggregator. We show listings from independent sellers and third-party retailers so buyers can compare them in one place. Bootega is not a marketplace or logistics provider; we do not hold inventory or shipments. Purchases are settled directly between the parties. Payments for Featured Listings and other paid services go through PayPal. Boot Bodega does not store your card or payment account details; PayPal handles those.
2. Seller obligations
Sellers listed on Bootega agree to list boots accurately (condition, size, authenticity), respond to buyer inquiries in good faith, and honor the price and details shown at the time of contact unless both parties agree to a change.
3. The Joint Guarantee
The Joint Guarantee is a good-faith commitment between Bootega, the seller, and the buyer, not a financial or legal guarantee. If a dispute arises (item not as described, non-delivery, and similar cases), Bootega will attempt good-faith mediation between both parties to reach a fair resolution.
4. No escrow, no held funds
Bootega does not hold or escrow payments between buyer and seller. Money for boots changes hands directly between buyer and seller (or buyer and retailer). Because of this, Bootega cannot guarantee refunds or reverse a boot sale. Our role is limited to mediation and, where warranted, removing a seller from the platform.
5. Featured listings
Featured placement is a visibility boost only. It does not imply Bootega endorsement of condition, pricing, or authenticity beyond what the seller has represented.

Privacy Policy
1. What we collect
Search queries and result counts, a device-generated client ID, basket contents, seller applications and listings you submit, suggestion messages, reviews, and, if you sign in with Google, your name, email, and Google account ID.
2. How we use it
To run search and price comparison, show your recent searches and basket, review seller applications, sync your basket across devices when signed in, and understand overall usage (aggregate stats only, shown in our public search count).
3. Local storage & cookies
Bootega stores your basket, recent searches, and a random client ID in your browser's local storage. Signing in stores a session token in session storage, cleared when you close the tab or sign out.
4. Third parties
We use Google OAuth for optional sign-in, Google Sheets as our data store, PayPal for Featured Listings and other paid services, and, when configured, the Anthropic API for optional boot-detail enrichment. We do not sell personal data to third parties. Payments for Featured Listings and other paid services go through PayPal. Boot Bodega does not store your card or payment account details; PayPal handles those.
5. Deletion requests
To request deletion of account-linked data (Google email, synced basket, reviews attributed to your account), send a request via the Suggest tab with the subject “Data deletion.” Anonymous localStorage data can be cleared by clearing site data in your browser.

Terms of Use
1. Discovery aggregator only
Bootega is a discovery and comparison tool. We do not sell boots or act as a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers or retailers. Payments for Featured Listings and other paid services go through PayPal. Boot Bodega does not store your card or payment account details; PayPal handles those.
2. Prices are not guaranteed
Prices, sizes, and availability shown on Bootega are pulled from third-party retailers and independent sellers and can change without notice. Always confirm final price and stock directly with the seller or retailer before paying.
3. Disputes
For seller listings, disputes are handled under our , which explains Bootega's good-faith mediation role and its limits.
4. Acceptable use
Don't scrape, abuse, or attempt to disrupt Bootega's search infrastructure. Seller applications and listings must be truthful and belong to the applicant.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bootega is not liable for losses arising from third-party listings, retailer site changes, failed transactions, shipping disputes, or reliance on prices or availability shown in search results. Bootega provides discovery tools only.
6. Changes
These terms may change as Bootega grows. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Sign in with Google under Sell With Us, then submit your Instagram handle and one proof of a past transaction (a screenshot works). Bootega reviews applications by hand. Once approved, you can list individual boots.
Featured is a ranking boost for private-seller listings. Partner Site Boost is a site-wide ranking boost for brand or retailer partners. Both are optional visibility products. Neither guarantees a sale.
